Production Manager

Job requirements :

  • Aantarika Craftsmen Pvt Ltd is a leading manufacturing company specializing in high-quality furniture (modular kitchen, wardrobe, etc.) and home decor products. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Manager to oversee our production operations and ensure the efficient and timely delivery of our products.
  • As a Production Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of the production process. This includes overseeing the planning and scheduling of production activities, monitoring production targets and quality standards, managing inventory levels, and optimizing process efficiencies. You will collaborate closely with our design, engineering, and quality assurance teams to ensure that our products are manufactured to the highest standards. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing a team of production staff and ensuring their training and development needs are met.
  • The ideal candidate for this role has a strong background in production management, preferably within the furniture or home decor industry. You should have excellent organizational and leadership skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Responsibilities :

    • Manage and allocate resources, including manpower, equipment, and materials, to optimize production efficiency.
    • Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.

    • Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure products meet or exceed customer expectations.
    • Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address quality issues promptly.

    • Lead and motivate production teams, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
    • Provide guidance, coaching, and performance feedback to team members.

    • Monitor production costs and implement cost-effective measures to achieve budgetary goals.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Operations Management).
  • Proven experience as a Production Manager or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production management principles.
